Koc University offers fellowships to junior and senior researchers specializing in archaeology, art history, history and related disciplines through its Research Center for Anatolian Civilizations (RCAC). Dedicated to the preservation of Turkey’s cultural heritage, RCAC aims to encourage, facilitate and develop research on the history, art, architecture and archaeology of civilizations in Turkey.
About
Located in the Beyoglu district of Istanbul, the Research Center for Anatolian Civilizations (RCAC) welcomes applications from junior and senior art history, history and archeology scholars for up to 20 fellowship spots. Fellowships, which include accommodation, travel and stipend, will be given to approximately 10 PhD candidates and 10 scholars with PhDs to further RCAC research on various civilizations in Turkey from the Neolithic period through the Ottoman era.
Fellows are expected to reside in Istanbul for the duration of the program and will be asked to devote full-time to their research. They will also be asked to give two lectures on their work during the course of the academic year.

Applicants must fill out an online application and submit it to Koc University directly by December 15th along with a cover letter, project description, official graduate school transcripts, letters of recommendation, as well as a list of dependents (if any).
