About
In recognition of the importance of fostering cross-cultural dialogue, Bahçeşehir University in Istanbul offers African American, Native American and Hispanic American students scholarships covering all tuition expenses.
Founded in 1998, Bahçeşehir University is among the most dynamic institutions of higher education in Turkey. Based in Istanbul, Bahçeşehir - with its dedicated faculty, internationally recognized research and educational programs, study abroad opportunities and modern campus - aims to secure a place among the leading universities in the world.
In addition to the scholarships, the International Student Office at Bahçeşehir will assist prospective students in securing housing, which along with other living expenses (i.e. meals and public transportation), is not expected to exceed $1,000 per month. Scholarships are subject to quotas and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
In addition to Bahçeşehir University’s generous offer, eligible students can receive a scholarship from the Turkish Coalition of America of up to $2,000 per semester or academic year to assist with living expenses while they study in Turkey, one of the most exhilarating study abroad destinations in the world.
