About
Since 2008, TCA has been providing scholarships to support individual students from American minority communities – including Native Americans, African Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Armenian Americans – who pursue part of their education in Turkey. With this new grant, we seek to provide a general incentive to American educational institutions to choose Turkey as a study tour destination for their students. With increased interest in Turkey and its region, TCA's grant is designed to support such study tours by decreasing participation cost for students, hence increasing participation.
(Note: Minority students who participate in a TCA-sponsored Study Tour are not eligible for additional funding under the TCA Minority Scholarship Program.)
How to Apply
Institutions planning to apply for a TCA Study Tour grant are advised to submit a letter of intent a minimum of four months before their planned travel date. All applications must follow the proposed letter of intent format available here.
The letter of intent should be submitted electronically along with a cover page, daily itineraries and a projected budget - including a list of other sources of funding - to info@tc-america.org.
